Lydia Konsta
Film Director & Producer
I look around and I wonder…
how the journey of directing brought me here…
A thrilling, unpredictable, and demanding journey—from my first short film, which won Best Student Film at Sheffield in 2002 and was distributed by the British Film Council, to today, where my show Herbs, Fruits of the Earth on ERT3 is in its third season and has been awarded for its environmental sensitivity.
After completing my studies in film directing and production at the Northern Media School, Sheffield Hallam University, I found myself in Berlin in 2003, where I was selected to participate in the Berlinale Talent Campus, learning alongside great filmmakers.
